Our research agenda entails an in-depth investigation of self. We are a group of psychology students, teachers and counselors who have either witnessed or experienced sharp points or high impact trauma. We utilize technological, biological, social, spiritual, philosophical and psychological theories, and historical trends in the formulation of our thesis. Our work is greatly influenced by William James, Mary Whiton Calkins, Carl Gustav Jung, Gloria Anzaldua, Ernest R. Hilgard, Audre Lorde, Sigmund Freud, Mary Daly, Sharon Salzberg, Viktor Frankl and Richard Rohr.
